Mindflow is proud to announce that we will appear pitchside at Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium throughout the 2025/26 season — thanks to the support of one of our founding charity partners, Christopher Ward.
As Everton’s Official Global Timing Partner, Christopher Ward has generously donated part of its LED advertising allocation at all home fixtures to help spotlight the connection between football, mental health and construction.
Part of a bigger movement
The pitchside campaign is part of Christopher Ward’s wider ‘2% for GOOD’ initiative — a commitment to donate 2% of total sales to causes creating positive social impact. The initiative has already helped Mindflow deliver its pilot outreach across the North West, reaching over 2,000 construction workers through Match-Ups and site-based mental health sessions.
In Liverpool, Jason McAteer joined workers from Persimmon Homes to share his story and spark raw, honest conversations. In Manchester, Domis Construction hosted four Match-Ups across their Obsidian site, led by ex-Man City players David White and Paul Lake. And in Preston, our first ever session with VolkerStevin showed just how powerful lived experience can be when it’s brought onto site, not left at the door.
And now, with the platform of Hill Dickinson Stadium, we’re planning on expanding the charity's reach nationwide in 2026.
A shared belief in football as a force for good
Mike France, CEO and Co-founder of Christopher Ward, said:
“At Christopher Ward, we’ve always believed that business should be a force for good – and that means tackling the issues that too often go unseen. The mental health crisis in construction is one of them. Mindflow’s work resonates deeply with our values: practical action, compassion, and community. Using football – something that connects millions of us – to break down stigmas and start life-saving conversations is inspired. We’re incredibly proud that our 2% for GOOD initiative is helping Mindflow bring this movement to life, one site, one team, and one conversation at a time.”
Trevor Steven, CEO of Mindflow and Everton Giant, added:
“Two people lose their lives daily to suicide in construction – this is not okay. We looked at what we could do to make a difference, and using the power of football to break down barriers and the stigma often associated with mental health felt the right way for us. Having the backing of Christopher Ward has been game-changing for Mindflow; it’s allowed us to amplify our message and reach more people in need. To be back at Everton’s incredible new stadium, and to see Mindflow’s message projected around it thanks to Christopher Ward’s generosity, will fill me with pride and hope. Together, we can tackle the mental health crisis head-on.”
Uniting football, construction and wellbeing
Through its support of Mindflow, Christopher Ward — alongside Everton — is helping bring mental health into the spotlight in one of the UK’s most high-risk industries. Together, we’re using the power of football to spark conversations that could save lives.
