Construction teams across the UK — it’s time to lace up.
Mindflow and Christopher Ward have teamed up to launch the first-ever Christopher Ward Cup: a national five-a-side football tournament for the construction industry. It’s open to any company working with our Mental Health Charter or receiving Match-Ups.
This isn’t just about goals and glory. It’s about moving together, building trust, and getting people talking — because every stronger team is a step towards better mental health.
A partnership with purpose
The Christopher Ward Cup builds on our new partnership with Christopher Ward, the UK’s largest watchmaker. Through their 2% for GOOD initiative, they’re donating 2% of annual profits to causes that create lasting change — including our mission to tackle the mental health crisis in construction.
Together, we’re using football to spark real conversations, break down stigma, and connect workers with support on site. The Christopher Ward Cup is one way that commitment becomes action.

What is the Christopher Ward Cup?
A five-a-side tournament for construction teams who are part of the Mindflow community. Physical activity is proven to boost mental well-being — and this gives workers a reason to train, connect, and work towards something bigger than themselves.

Why the Christopher Ward Cup matters
Every working day, two construction workers take their own lives. We know team culture can save lives — but only if we build it. The Christopher Ward Cup is one way we start: by showing up, pulling together, and making mental health part of the game.
