The team shaping our strategy and impact
At the heart of every successful charity is a committed board of trustees — and Mindflow is no exception. Guiding our mission with experience from construction, business, public service and mental health advocacy, our trustees ensure strong governance and long-term impact.

Leading with purpose
Each trustee plays a vital role in helping Mindflow grow with integrity and impact. Their insight keeps us focused. Their experience keeps us accountable. And their leadership helps us build a stronger, more supportive construction industry — where mental health is treated as seriously as physical safety. Together, they’re shaping real, lasting change.

Since retiring from the playing side of football in 1997, Trevor stayed within the sport, working in broadcast and media. Following a spell working in the Middle East, in 2020 Trevor joined Causeway Technologies, a leading provider of software and services for the construction and maintenance industry, as a Mental Health Ambassador to help project the spotlight onto mental health in the construction industry and campaign for positive change.
Today, Trevor is Chief Executive Officer of Mindflow, a charity founded by Causeway Technologies, committed to championing positive mental health in the construction industry by harnessing the power of football.

Phil Brown is the founder and Executive Chairman of Causeway Technologies, a leading construction software company he launched in 1999. A visionary in the digital transformation of the construction sector, Phil has spent over two decades pioneering technologies that improve how the industry operates from commercial processes to project management.
His commitment to innovation is matched by his deep concern for the people working within the sector. Recognising the growing mental health crisis in construction, Phil was instrumental in launching Mindflow and now serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees. Under his leadership, the charity is helping to bring mental well-being into the spotlight, driving forward a culture of openness, support, and resilience across construction sites.
Phil brings not only strategic oversight and commercial insight but also a genuine passion for making the industry a better place to work. His drive and dedication are key to Mindflow’s mission to ensure that mental health is treated with the same urgency and seriousness as physical safety.
