Construction workers are three times more likely to die by suicide than the UK average.

It's a crisis that demands more than awareness - it needs real, visible support on site.

That’s why we’re proud to announce that Mindflow is now one of the charities supported by Christopher Ward’s 2% for GOOD initiative. The UK’s largest watchmaker is donating 2% of annual profits to causes that create lasting change - from environmental action to community wellbeing. And now, thanks to this partnership, part of that commitment will help tackle the most urgent health and safety issue in the construction industry: mental health.

Christopher Ward logoMindflow brings ex-footballers to site to spark open conversations, break down stigma, and connect workers with real support. Through this partnership, we’ll be able to reach more workers, earlier - embedding openness, support and practical help into daily site culture.

Trevor Steven, CEO at Mindflow:  "We are really honoured to be selected by Christopher Ward as one of their chosen charities. Having them on board from the start of our journey combatting the mental health crisis in construction and reducing suicide rates across the industry is of huge importance to us."

Mike France, CEO and Co-founder of Christopher Ward: "At Christopher Ward, we believe in using business as a force for good. We’ve always had an affinity with the underdog - championing brilliant causes that might not yet be in the spotlight but have the power to make a real difference. The mental health crisis in construction is a challenge that demands action, and Mindflow’s unique approach - harnessing the power of football to foster open conversations - resonates deeply with us. We’re proud to stand alongside Trevor and the small but brilliant team at Mindflow from the very beginning, hopefully doing just a small part in helping them to change lives."

Watch how that spark turned into lasting support below. In this candid conversation, Trevor Steven meets with Mike France at the launch event for Mindflow to reflect on their unexpected connection - from a shared love of Everton to a shared commitment to changing lives. What began as football banter over dinner quickly turned into something deeper: a mutual drive to tackle the mental health crisis in construction.
