Mindflow is proud to announce a new corporate charity partnership with Black Capital Group, officially launching in May to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week.

The year-long partnership will see both organisations work together to raise vital funds and increase awareness of mental health across the construction industry, supporting Mindflow’s mission to ensure mental health is treated with the same importance as physical safety on every site.

At Mindflow, we believe football has a unique power to bring people together, break down barriers and create space for important conversations. Through this partnership, that belief will be brought to life through a series of fundraising and engagement initiatives, including a five-a-side football tournament, golf day and charity gala dinner in September.

Beyond fundraising, the collaboration is focused on creating meaningful cultural change. By engaging Black Capital Group’s employees, stakeholders and wider network, the partnership aims to encourage more open conversations around mental health and inspire the wider construction sector to prioritise wellbeing at every level.

Why this matters

Mental health remains one of the most urgent challenges facing the construction industry today. In the UK, two construction workers take their own lives every day, a devastating statistic that highlights the need for stronger awareness, support and action.

Partnerships like this play a vital role in helping to reduce stigma, create safer workplaces, and ensure that no one feels they have to face mental health struggles alone.

A shared commitment

Speaking about the partnership, Trevor Steven, CEO of Mindflow, said:

"We are incredibly grateful to Black Capital Group for choosing Mindflow as their Charity of the Year. Partnerships like this are so important in helping us continue and expand our work across the construction industry.

The funds raised will directly support our initiatives on site, allowing us to reach more workers, raise greater awareness, and provide the support that is so desperately needed.

It’s inspiring to see organisations like Black Capital Group stepping forward and leading the way in prioritising mental health, and we’re excited to work together to make a real and lasting impact."

We’re proud to stand alongside Black Capital Group in a shared commitment to driving positive change — using collaboration, community and the power of sport to tackle mental health challenges head-on.

Together, we can change lives.
